Upper Midwest Flip Cup

Seven teams competed for the golden cups, and The Ringers took them home. The Ringers went undefeated on the night gaining 12 points, while the Peanut Pickers took second with 11 points.

Sip & Flip maintains the lead, but three teams have a great shot to take them down for the season championship. We're tentatively scheduled to finish the season the last Friday in May. Stay tuned for the details, and more photos.

What: Flip Cup Spring Championship Series, Round 2

When: Friday, April 28th. 8:30 PM registration, 9:00 Flipoff.

There will be Bud prizes, the coveted golden cups and a chance to catch up or extend your lead in the points. This is the second round of the three round series.

Don't sweat it if you didn't play last month. Any team is welcome, and anything can happen.

Nine teams battled it out for Flip Cup supremacy at The Nickel Spot. Sip&Flip came roaring out of the loser’s bracket to take down the Peanut Pickers and take home the golden cups.

As you can see, it can be worth a lot of points to come out of the loser’s bracket. You play more. It’s also very important to win some rounds in your games. Losing 3-0 does nothing for your point total. Teams that took it to 3-2 and lost still did OK in points.

We will use these points to seed the next tournament. Since it is a double elimination tournament, the #1 seed will play #2, #3 will play #4 and so on. Any new teams will play as the lowest seeds. It's tougher for the top teams, but if you really are good, it won't matter.
